Traditional Windmills in Tripiti, originally built around l555; renovated by owners Located in upper village of Tripiti with exceptional view of Plaka (Capitol of Milos) and surrounding Cycladic villages including the seaway entrance to the Bay & Port of Adamas & opposite (north) side also.
Main windmill building consists of ground floor living room; up stairs to 2 single beds/1 room with wooden railing sort of looking down into living room a little & curtain; and further up stairs, the master bedroom with double bed.
Across main building a few steps is the annex building with kitchen & a smaller bedroom with double bed in Euripides Windmill - ( the other windmills only have the two bedrms)- the WC/shower is entered from the outside (only 1 bathroom).
All surrounded by a stone wall / great views. Nice outside areas different at each windmill & beautiful sunset views.
Set up high apart from the village of Tripiti but well in walking distance with plenty space around . Plenty of room for car / boat parking. Perfect for seeing all the archeological sites; 2 museums & original Cycladic character & one can drive to the beautiful beaches around the island.
